History
The Post-graduate Studies in English began in September 2014. It has been designed keeping in mind both students who have taken Literature in the Undergraduate Course and those who have completed their degrees in other disciplines. In other words any student who has completed his/her B.Sc, BCA or B.Com and has a passionate interest in Literature are welcomed into this programme.
The syllabus for this programme is progressive and it highlights academic skills that are necessary for the competitive world of teaching, content writing and journalistic writing.
The first batch of students graduated in August 2016; they are doing well being placed in different colleges of the city.
